The Phillips family spends over 250 days a year on the road, staging "Life Choices" events. John & Debbie have also performed the program in England. Between John & Debbie the two have visited 11 other countries in the last 14 years. John & Debbie met at a record company in Nashville, TN in 1989. John has also worked professionally in the film business. He was an extra in Steven Spielberg's The Color Purple and played a parent in Touchstone Pictures, Ernest Scared Stupid. He was an assistant in Jean-Claude Van Damme’s Maximum Risk and Double Team. John and Debbie are both singer, songwriters and musicians. John is a guitarist and Debbie is a pianist. John has three solo (music) releases. Together, John and Debbie have two albums "All Day Long" and "Welcome"
John & Debbie are the parents of five children, Gracie, David, Joseph, Rachel, and Sarah.

John and Debbie share transparently their personal challenges and subsequent victories with alcohol and drug abuse, sexual abuse, promiscuity, divorce, broken parent/child relationships and more. Students will learn first hand how to negotiate the speed bumps in their lives and avoid destructive living.
